Our Words – Hurt or Heal

Are your words kind and true?

Do they reflect the inner you?

Or are they harsh; cruel or mean,

Usually spilling out or causing a scene.

If this is you: DO NOT despair.

Jesus never left so please NO fear.

He always loves in word and deed.

As you know we are His children; His precious seed.

So CLING to your Father; let His words arise,

You can see HE is with you by your side.

He forgives all the junk; HE is making a new way.

With Him; be renewed; be revived as it is His new day.

Bright lights come in and sunshine soothes,

Longing; hunger; caressing with His glorious woos!

Breathe in deeply His encompassing air,

For Jesus hears our deepest cries and any hidden prayer.

So see Him as He is: mighty; tall; without pride or sin.

Reflect on His word; illuminate His light.

Open up the floodgates; oh; what a sight!

So in closing remember who you are and who you will be,

For Jesus Christ’s sake declare aloud you and I are forever FREE!
